FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Kearney, Ontario – May 6, 2026. Riders came together for the 16th Annual TraX4 Breast Cancer ATV Ride at Edgewater Park Lodge in Kearney, Ontario. The weekend featured strong camaraderie, challenging trails, water crossings, mud, snow, and many memorable moments. Festivities began Friday evening as participants reconnected, welcomed new riders, and prepared for the weekend. Trivia Night, hosted by Trivia Queen Entertainment, delivered an engaging and enjoyable start.
On Saturday morning, riders explored the Algonquin West ATV Club trail system, navigating rocky climbs, water holes, and muddy terrain. Despite overcast skies and falling snow, spirits remained high. The group divided into North and South routes, then regrouped at midday for lunch, taking in the scenery and sharing stories.
Saturday evening festivities included dinner, speeches, awards, and a lively gathering, and ended with a silent auction. Everyone left with their hearts full and some great new memories. This year’s event raised an impressive $60,000 through pledges, sponsorships, and community support.
2026 Award Recipients:
• Top Fundraiser: Ryan Donegan • WTF Award (Best Mishap on the Trail): Lee-Anna Hamilton (it was not her fault) • Deck Your Ride: Serenity Mesdag and Chantal and Shelly Keating • Momma Bear Award: Natalie Neilson
Thank you to the volunteers from the Algonquin West ATV Club for their leadership and trail support, and to the Ontario Provincial Police for helping ensure a safe event.
